This Cache was placed in honer of Tom, Bill and Fred McCarty, outlaws that road with the likes of Butch Cassidy, who placed a true cache of gold near this area in 1893 which has never been recovered.  To learn more of the McCarty cache, the on going search for it and how you can partake in it click here.
